This blog was born from a mama’s heart — a single mom navigating life after a divorce that wasn’t God’s plan, but trusting God for restoration, strength, and purpose. This is a space where grace leads, and love is loud.
Why I’m Writing This:
After being separated from my son for 13 long days, I realized just how much joy, laughter, and connection can be packed into a simple act of love. I made him a DIY candy board full of his favorite treats — but it was more than candy. It was a message:
"🎮💥 WELCOME HOME, PLAYER ONE! 💥🎮"
For the last 13 days, the game just wasn’t the same without you. Mama missed her champion, her gamer boy, her snack-master sidekick.
So she made you this EPIC DIY CANDY BOARD — full of your favorite power-ups and treats, just like the ultimate care package from Level 100! 💪
🧃 Kool-Aid Pops – to cool down after all those heated matches.
🍬 Extra Bubblegum – because you bring the extra everything wherever you go.
🍫 Reese’s Pieces – because mama missed every single piece of you.
🧀 Cheez-Its – cheesy like mama’s jokes, but you always laugh anyway.
🧦 Fast & Furious + Pac-Man Socks – because you're too fast and never miss a level.
🐟 Swedish Fish – because you're one of a kind in this big ol’ sea.
🍔 Krabby Patties – for the SpongeBob moments we haven’t had in 13 days.
🍭 Jolly Ranchers – because your smile brings joy like no other.
🧊 Warhead Cubes – a little sour like teenage moods, but still sweet at the core.
🍭 Sour Bubble Pop Suckers – because you're POPPIN’ back into the house like a boss.
🔥 Cheetos & Doritos – for those late-night gaming snacks we both pretend are “just a little bit.”
And of course…
📦 The Big Welcome Home Posterboard – because nothing says “I love you” louder than this sweet surprise.
Mama’s been counting the days.
Now it’s time to kick back, lace up those crazy socks, crunch some chips, and hit “Continue Game” — right here, where you belong. 🕹️💙

See, I wanted him to know that -"You're seen. You're loved. You're home."
This moment wasn’t about sweets — it was about showing my son that even though we’re apart sometimes, my love for him never changes. It was about putting my faith into action, and choosing love even in hard seasons.
As a mom healing from pain, learning to forgive, and growing into the godly woman I want to be for my children — this little gesture reminded me that small things can speak volumes. That despite the mess, God is still writing my story.
Our Mission: To encourage single moms to walk in faith, express love boldly, and remind their children that no matter the distance or the story — home is where a praying mama is.
From My Heart to Yours:
I’m not perfect. I’ve cried, yelled, doubted, and prayed through it all. But I’m learning to lead with love, guided by the Word, and walk in purpose as a godly mother. If this story encourages you to love on your children in a creative, faith-filled way — then it’s already a blessing.
