There are days when it feels like everything is too much.
You’ve done all the “right” things—prayed, trusted, worked hard, stayed faithful—and yet, you still feel like you’re barely holding it all together. After divorce, the weight feels heavier. The loneliness cuts deeper. The silence at night gets louder.
And sometimes…
You feel like a failure.
You question your worth.
You wonder if you're really following God's plan or just trying to survive.
You ask yourself, “How long do I have to fight like this?”
Mama, I see you. And more importantly—God sees you.
Faith Doesn’t Mean Fear Won’t Exist
It’s okay to have faith and still feel afraid. That doesn’t make you weak. That makes you human. Faith is not the absence of fear—it’s choosing to keep going even when you're scared, heartbroken, or unsure of the future.
Let me remind you of Hagar, a woman in the Bible who knew what it meant to feel unseen and cast aside. After being mistreated and forced to flee, Hagar found herself alone in the desert with her son, afraid and hopeless. And in that dry, desolate place—God met her.
He revealed Himself to her as El Roi, “The God who sees.”
“She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: ‘You are the God who sees me,’ for she said, ‘I have now seen the One who sees me.’” – Genesis 16:13 (NIV)
That same God sees you today.
Not just your tears and prayers, but your hard work. Your quiet sacrifices. Your courage to keep showing up when no one is clapping. Your love for your children even when you’re running on empty.
You Are Not Failing. You Are Fighting.
Every dish you wash. Every dollar you stretch. Every prayer you whisper through clenched teeth is proof—you are still in the fight. You’re not broken beyond repair. You’re being rebuilt into something stronger, wiser, and more beautiful than before.
So don’t give up.
Not today.
Not on yourself.
Not on your kids.
Not on the God who sees you, loves you, and has never left your side.
You may feel tired, but you are not defeated.
You are loved, chosen, and covered by grace.
Keep going, mama. God is not finished with your story yet.
With love,
Kerri Anderson ❤️
